A Mexican-American actress from Houston, Texas whose maternal grandparents came to the United States to raise their family, Ramirez is currently on the television show The Fosters, which ends in the summer of 2018. Ramirez will co-star in the spin-off to be introduced in the last episode. After starting her career on The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Ramirez went on to appear in CSI Miami and then star in The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She won a ALMA Award for her 2012 role in the movie Girl in Progress with Eva Mendes (who played her mom).
