¡Feliz cumpleaños a ... Sergio Ramos! (1986-  )

A professional soccer player from Spain (and therefore Spanish, and not "Latino," per se) who plays for Real Madrid and won the World Cup with Spain in 2010, he is considered one of the best defenders of his generation (see some of his best plays in this YouTube video compilation, HERE). Born in Camas, Sevilla, Andalucía, he made his way through the Sevilla youth soccer system and came to Madrid in 2005. In 2012 he began a relationship with television reporter/presenter Pilar Rubio, and the two have three sons together, Sergio (May 2014), Mario (November 2015), and Alejandro (March 25, 2018). Ramos announced the birth of his third son and declared his love for his wife and family on Twitter, as seen in this story from La Liga (click here for a short video on Ramos and Rubio announcing they were expecting). In addition to playing soccer, Ramos is a horse aficionado and owns a stud farm in Andalucía dedicated to the breeding of  Andalusian horses. He is also a close friend of Andalusian bullfighter Alejandro Talavante. He has spoken about his Catholic faith and has a tattoo of Mary that covers the entire portion of his upper left arm (along with many other tattoos on other parts of his body).

He is married to tv presenter Kelly Ripa, and the two have three children together, Michael, Lola, and Joaquín.

(1999-      ) An actor and musician who became famous playing Freddy on the Nickelodeon series School of Rock , Hurtado was born to Nicaraguan parents in Miami. He moved with his family to Atlanta, Georgia when he was one years old. Hurtado's father is a musician (a piano player with a degree in music from the University of Georgia). "Everyone on my dad's side of the family is a musician," he told an interviewer in 2016, adding that his uncle played the guitar. In the same interview , Hurtado talks about his faith and says, "My main goal in life if to be as close as I can be to God." (1902-1989) A Cuban poet, journalist, political activist, and writer of African-European descent, Guillén was known during his life as the National Poet of Cuba. Born in Camagüey, he was the oldest of six children born to Nicolás Guillén y Urra, who had fought for Cuban independence from Spain, and Argelia Batista y Arrieta. Guillén's father belonged to the Partido Libertad and founded the daily newspaper La Libertad to express his views. Government forces assassinated Guillén's father for protesting electoral fraud and closed down his printing press. After that, Guillén's family struggled financially. Guillén was greatly influenced by meeting African-American poet Langston Hughes in 1930. Hughes' enthusiasm for Afro-Cuban music inspired Guillén, who was familiar with 'son' music from his father.
