¡Feliz cumpleaños a ... Natalia Valdebenito! (1979-       )

A comedian, actress and radio host from Chile, Valdebenito released Gritona, an album of her comedy routine, in May of 2017. A show of the same name premiered on Netflix in November of 2017. Valdebenito grew up in the Franklin neighborhood of Santiago, Chile and graduated from Colegio Santa Cruz in 1998. She then studied theater at the Universidad Católica de Chile.  She became well known on the show El Club de la Comedia, a stand-up comedy show on Chilevisión, and from her radio show, Café con Nata, on Súbela Radio Chile. In November of 2015 she presented at the New York Comedy Festival alongside Argentinian Ezequiel Campa and Colombian Diego Camargo. Theirs was the only act in Spanish. Valdebenito is a feminist who says she advocates for "igualdad de derechos e igualdad de deberes." For an interview with Valdebenito (in Spanish) on her decision to not have children (she prefers being a wonderful aunt) and her views on catcalling (not acceptable) click HERE.
